Google offre di archiviare tutte le ricerche che fai (a che pro?)

Send all your search history to Google: "Google is trying out a new service that allows you to store all your past search requests and the resultant results.

If you fancy, you can activate the 'My Search History' service, at labs.google.com here.

You have to come up with a personal login with a password. Google will then allow you to find any search conducted on a particular day, using a calendar that is displayed on the history page. It also points out past search results related to new search requests.

Google said that once a database on a person’s searches is established, it will be possible to personalise search patterns better. When I type in 'Nick Farrell', for example, I am more likely to want to see IT or other things penned by me, and not the actor who was in Chariots of Fire [Vain git, Ed].

It sounds like a good idea until you start to wonder about giving all your search details to a third party. Although most people will not be able to get at your searches, it would be possible for anyone armed with a snooping warrant to force Google to hand it over."
